She walks with pomp.
Dances with grace. With finesse.
She has glimmer in her eyes.
Fuchsia on her lips.
Rose blush on her cheeks.
Sweet as sugar.
She is poetry in motion.
Inside, she is broken.
Weeps in silent sobs. In convulsive sobs.
She has thorns in her heart.
Gray on her mind.
Deep blue woes in her eyes.
Dark as midnight.
She is a forgotten dream.
She is the same person, and yet she is not.
ahhh the female version of sad clown.....the broken beauty...:-) lovely...
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS SO WONDERFUL!!!
ReplyDeletePERFECTION!
I mean it is depressive in the sense of a broken woman, a fake smile and being a 'forgotten dream' but from a reader's point of view, this is INCREDIBLE!
"She is a poetry in motion"
ReplyDelete"She is a forgotten dream"
beautiful line; a melancholic masquerade...
But the label "the girl that i was" disturbs me..I hope everything is good!
I don't think any of the options for the new blog name describes your blog well...:-( sorry..
ReplyDeletetwo sides of the girl's life, somehow evryone have their two sides.. one that's visible another one hidden,
ReplyDeleteshe is the same person, and yet she is not
Hugs,now you dont change please..

Your words effortlessly manage to raise the hair up my spine..
ReplyDeleteIt makes me realise how such a girl exists in all of us..
Who smiles when she's broken, who laughs.. when all that she wants to do is hide under a blanket and cry..
I loved the poetry:)

Conflict...Conflict..
ReplyDeleteI think..it is very difficult to be the same inside and outside in today's world...there is always some corner which is unseen..which only resides inside....
But, both the sides are part of us..which makes us who we are :)
Inspired by Lady Fiona's poem..is it? :)
Best Wishes.
